Jessica Simpson is ready to pop! The 32-year-old Fashion Star mentor is expecting her second child with fiance Eric Johnson in July — and it looks like she's more than ready for her baby boy's arrival.
Simpson tweeted a hilarious photo of herself wearing a hot air balloon sweater on Monday, June 3. "Metaphor," she wrote as the caption. In the photo, Simpson shows off her growing baby bump while making a silly face.
On Sunday, Simpson got all dressed up in a black curve-hugging dress to attend best friend CaCee Cobb's baby shower. "Showered with so much love yesterday. Thank you, Jessica Simpson," Cobb, who is expecting her first child with husband Donald Faison in August, tweeted with a photo of the pregnant pals showing off their bumps. "Best friends. Best baby shower ever."
Simpson is already mom to daughter Maxwell, 13 months, and Cobb is looking to her for advice.
"Jessica's a great mom," she told Us Weekly in May. "It's kind of crazy to see her because she's further along than I am and she's chasing around Maxwell, who just turned 1 and is about to walk any day now."
"She's got me beat," Cobb, 35, added. "Just watching her, I'm in awe because she makes it look easy — but it's not, I can tell!"
