Jon Gosselin Talks Kate Gosselin Run-In at Garage Sale: It Was Cordial

A Gosselin get-together! Last month, Jon and a newly made-over Kate Gosselin had a rare run-in at a garage sale, and now, Jon is opening up about his time with his ex-wife.

The father of eight, 37, caught up with TMZ at Los Angeles International Airport on Monday, Nov. 3, and spoke about the encounter.

“We don’t really talk,” he said. “It was cordial. Yeah [we talked], like, ‘Go here, go there.’ Like directions.”

The estranged reality stars were seen together at Kate’s garage sale in Wernersville, Penn. on Saturday, Oct. 25. Kate, 39, used the event to debut her long locks and beautiful new look, “purge” her home of stuff she no longer needed, and to raise money for the local Animal Rescue League.

One such disposable item was her ex-husband’s video game collection. Jon purchased Call of Duty at the sale, donating money to the charity in return.

“I donated money and got stuff back,” he told TMZ. “I got my video game back. I donated $20, it went to ARL.”

He went on to add that he was there to see his children, and handed the $20 to his daughter Leah, rather than to Kate herself. Watch Jon discuss his feelings about Kate selling his stuff in the video above!
