The former child star now has a child star of his own! In a new interview on the website Babble, Happy Days' Scott Baio talks about parenting his 5-year-old daughter, Bailey, who has already made a couple of guest appearances on his new Nickelodeon show See Dad Run.

"She's always dancing, always singing…she's a creative kid," said the 52-year-old actor, who previously documented his love life in VH1's reality show Scott Baio Is 45…and Single and, later, Scott Baio Is 46…and Pregnant. "I support whatever her path is going to be, but my advice to her about show business is not to get into it!"

Baio isn't only wary of his daughter following in his famous footsteps — he's also worried she'll grow up too fast. "I kind of get a sense of [her growing up] now," he told the website. "She would hold my hand everywhere, and now she pushes it away. I go, 'Really? You're pushing my hand away?' It's amazing how quick they want their independence, and I don't blame them."

The former teen hunk was open about the challenges of parenting. "I'm still learning to be patient, which I'm bad at," he said. "When I tell her to do something, I want her to do it immediately, but I forget that she has her own thoughts and her own concerns. Patience is so important."

Baio also talked about what it's like to film See Dad Run on the same set as Happy Days, which ran from 1974 to 1984. "It was purely coincidental, but [also] fascinating, charming, heartwarming and all that good stuff," he shared. "My office is Garry Marshall's old office."
