The only thing hotter than the Miami sun? Candice Swanepoel‘s bangin’ bikini body! The South African stunner showed off her svelte shape in a skimpy two-piece on Saturday, May 25. With her hair pulled into a tight bun, the 24-year-old Victoria’s Secret Angel spent some quality time with her Brazilian-born model beau Hermann Nicoli.
The genetically-blessed couple spent the afternoon relaxing at the Shore Club hotel’s pool. At one point, Nicoli lifted his girlfriend of six years in the air and gave her a tender kiss.
During the Victoria’s Secret Swim campaign launch in Beverly Hills March 12, Swanepoel told Us Weekly how she gets in shape for swimwear season. “I really enjoy boxing! For a long time I was bored by working out and doing weights, so I got introduced to boxing and that way I’m able to get a whole lot of aggression out as well!” the 5-foot-9 blonde revealed. “And then if I’m on holiday or we’re shooting on location, I like to run on the beach or play racquetball — something where you don’t feel like you’re working out.”
The key to looking confident in a bikini “starts with finding a suit that looks good on your body,” Swanepoel said. “That’s extremely important, because you can tell immediately when someone is uncomfortable in what they’re wearing! For me, I think having a nice tan makes me feel better.”
Swanepoel made a few suggestions when Victoria’s Secret was designing its line of summer bikinis. “I like the cheeky butt and the ruching,” she told Us. “I think it’s so cute, and they’ve done a lot more of that this season.”
