Brosgiving! Best buds Ben Affleck and Matt Damon are taking their bromance to the next level and spending Thanksgiving together this year.
Us Weekly caught up with Affleck, 42, and his wife Jennifer Garner at the Save the Children Illumination Gala in New York City on Wednesday, Nov. 19, and the married couple of nine years dished on their holiday plans with one of their closest friends.
"My mother is staying with us now and we'll all go down the street to Matt Damon's house," the Gone Girl actor, whose family homebase is in L.A.'s Brentwood nabe, told Us. "We're all invited. Matt and my family are all like one big extended family for Thanksgiving. I'm looking forward to it a lot."
"This year we're going to Matt's house, but usually I cook and Casey and his family come over," Garner added, referencing her husband's younger actor brother, Casey Affleck. "This year Casey is going to be in Boston and we'll be home."
West Virginia-raised Garner, 42, isn't ditching her time in the kitchen with the new plan, however. "I'll still cook some stuff," she told Us. "Ben and the kids want me to take my grandmother's sweet potato pudding so I'll make that."
While the Draft Day actress will be contributing to the meal, her hunky husband told Us he'll be helping out with some celebratory libations.
"I know I'm not cooking!" he said. "I'll bring some wine for sure — wine will be flowing — but I'll be focused on the turkey. I know I'll be eating a lot of turkey at Matt's house."
Damon, 44, and his wife Luciana Barroso recently moved into a new house, relocating to Los Angeles after spending years in New York City. The Interstellar star, who became friends with Affleck when they were just kids, told the Today show he and his family were moving in part to be closer to their friends, such as his Good Will Hunting collaborator.
"Basically all of our friends with little kids are out there," said the father to daughters Isabella, 8, Gia, 6, and Stella, 4, and stepdaughter Alexia, 15. His pal Affleck is the dad to three children: daughter Violet, 8, daughter Seraphina, 5, and son Samuel, 2.
