Welcome to the world, John Nash Chatham! Television personality Jenn Brown and her actor husband Wes Chatham became parents on Monday, Nov. 24, when Brown gave birth to the couple's first child, Us Weekly can exclusively reveal.
Baby boy John Nash was born at 5:33 p.m. on Monday, more than two years after Brown, 33, and Chatham, 36, exchanged vows in April 2012. The new parents became engaged in September 2011.
"We are absolutely in love with our little boy, and feel very blessed!" the couple said in an exclusive statement to Us.
Brown stayed busy in the weeks leading up to her son's birth, supporting her hubby on the red carpet at the Los Angeles premiere of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 just last week. Chatham plays Castor in the upcoming movie, and held his pregnant wife as reporters and onlookers joked that she might give birth outside the Nokia Theatre.
John Nash was born healthy, albeit just a little bit early. On Friday, Nov. 21, Brown shared an ultrasound photo of her bun in the oven, smiling as the baby hit 36 weeks. "I already love this face…can't wait to meet him," she wrote at the time.
Brown and Chatham confirmed their happy pregnancy news to Us Weekly this past July, joking about what an active little one they would have. Referencing Brown's role as the host of the competition show American Ninja Warrior, the pair said in a statement to Us, "With as much as this baby is kicking, we think we have America's first Baby Ninja Warrior!"
