The chances of Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber getting back together are slim to none. During a joint appearance with Vanessa Hudgens on Chelsea Lately March 21, the 20-year-old Spring Breakers actress was asked how she's been coping since splitting with the 19-year-old singer earlier this year.
"Are you enjoying being single?" host Chelsea Handler asked. "Yes, I really am!" Gomez replied, smiling wide and nodding her head. As the audience cheered, Handler implored the starlet to "enjoy" this period in her life. "You're 20 years old," the comedienne reminded Gomez. "You've got a lot of men ahead of you!"
Handler then turned to Hudgens and asked, "Are you single, too?" Austin Butler's girlfriend proudly shook her head no, but that didn't stop the Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang author from doling out more dating advice. "Oh, okay, you're with someone," a disappointed Handler said. "Well, when you're single again — if you are single again — have a blast!"
During the interview, the late-night host also asked Gomez about where her "love for Hooters" came from. "When I was younger, I think my dad wanted me to be a boy," the Texas native explained. "So, we'd go to Hooters to watch the Spurs game. The waitresses would come over and I'd color them pictures, so I was kind of like bait for him in a way."
"And your father was single when he was doing this?" Handler quipped, prompting Gomez to nod her head. "That's good."
