Tia Mowry's husband is giving her the greatest gift of all this Mother's Day — the chance to meet Johnny Depp! At the launch event for her new Milky product with twin sister Tamera at the A Pea in the Pod store in Beverly Hills on Thursday, May 2, the mother of 22-month-old son Cree shared with Us Weekly how she'll be celebrating the holiday this year.
"Last year, I was out of town promoting my book Oh Baby so I didn't get to do much. This year my husband is actually shooting a movie in New Mexico with Johnny Depp, so guess where we will be? We will be in New Mexico with Johnny Depp," she told Us about husband Cory Hardrict's role in the action film Transcendence. "I want to meet him because I've never met him before."
"We'll just get on a plane, go hang out, have dinner and maybe have a nice spa day," she said of the trip. "I'll probably get to meet him. I'm so excited about that. I'm very proud of my husband."
While Tia, 34, is away celebrating Mother's Day with Depp et al, sister Tamera will be enjoying her first Mother's Day with husband Adam Housley and their 5-month-old son Aden. "I am so friggin' excited, I don't know what to do with myself," Tamera told Us. "My husband is actually surprising me. I have no idea," she said of their plans for the day.
Though the identical sisters may differ in how they celebrate Mother's Day, they both agree that they love being moms, and hope to have more children soon. "I don't want to wait too long, because time really isn't on my side," Tia told Us. "I'm getting older."
"We want to have another one," Tamera also shared. "Maybe in a year or two."
And they both would also like to adopt. "We never really talked about it, but we found out later when we were talking about kids that that's what we both wanted to do," Tamera said. "We want to have another one on our own and then adopt the third. We love babies."
