Eliza Coupe's Happy Endings appear to be unraveling both on- and off-screen. Two months after the cancellation of her critically acclaimed ABC sitcom Happy Endings, the actress has been served with divorce papers by husband Randall Whittinghill, TMZ reports.
Citing irreconcilable differences, Whittinghill, a puppeteer and acting coach, is said to have requested spousal support in the documents. Per TMZ, however, he and his wife, 32, are working out the division of property in mediation.
Coupe and Whittinghill have been together for more than 12 years. Speaking about their relationship in an interview with New York Magazine's Vulture last October, she joked that she was with him because of his resemblance to her celebrity crush.
"I literally only started dating my husband because he looked like Johnny Depp — and he knows that," she said. "We've been together for 12 years, and he still looks like Johnny Depp."
The actress' rep had no comment on her split.
