It’s a miracle! The men of Culture Club made their big return on Monday, Nov. 3, releasing new music for the first time in 15 years.
The celebrated British band returned to the airwaves with a comeback single “More Than Silence.” Frontman Boy George took to Twitter to voice his excitement about reuniting with Mikey Craig, Roy Hay, and Jon Moss.
“Did someone say new Culture Club single???” he tweeted.
The first since the Boy George-led group debuted the singles from 1999’s Don’t Mind If I Do album, “More Than Silence” brings back Culture Club’s distinct sound to a chorus of, “I could use a little more than silence / Just three words that echo in my heart / I could use a little more than silence / Silence is the moon in her lonely sky.”
The track is the first off of Culture Club’s upcoming album Tribes, which is due out in early 2015. The British group first performed “More Than Silence” at a show this past October, and debuted the studio version on BBC Radio on Monday.
Culture Club’s new music precedes the band’s U.S. and UK tour dates, scheduled for November and December. The Grammy winners will play concerts in California, New York, New Jersey, and Las Vegas, before heading abroad to hit cities such as London, Glasgow, and Liverpool.
