Look who’s out of hiding! Three days after being spotted at a doctor’s office with boyfriend Kanye West and their 2-month-old daughter, North, Kim Kardashian emerged again, this time in Oklahoma. The 32-year-old reality star, who gave birth to her first child on June 15, was in the Midwest to attend the Aug. 17 funeral for West’s grandfather, Portwood Williams, who died on Aug. 10 at the age of 98.
Despite the somber occasion, the new mom looked stunning and svelte in a short, fitted black dress under a long, crocheted black cardigan. She paired the ensemble with her trademark sky-high stilettos, which she had to temporarily abandon while pregnant.
At one point during the afternoon, Kardashian was photographed carrying her infant daughter, with North’s nanny close behind. While the child was mostly covered, her tiny feet could be seen peeking out from beneath a blanket.
The trip marked a milestone for Kardashian and West’s baby girl, as it was her first plane ride. After the service, the new parents flew back to the West Coast for a dinner with Instagram CEO and co-founder Kevin Systrom. Kardashian shared a snapshot of the outing later that night.
Friday, Aug. 23, will bring two more milestones for the family: West’s first in-depth interview since the birth of his daughter, and the big reveal of North’s first picture. The hip hop star is set to appear on Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner‘s talk show to chat about everything from fatherhood to his relationships with both the press and the mother of his child.
“He’s really bringing it,” a source tells Us Weekly of the sit-down, which was filmed on Monday, Aug. 19. Of the highly anticipated photo of North, the insider says: “It’s cute!”
