Depending on your view of Justin Bieber, this is either the best or worst thing that could happen to you.
During a concert in Newark, New Jersey, this week, fans began throwing items on stage while the the 19-year-old pop star was performing.
"Can you please refrain from throwing things on stage, please and thank you," Bieber asked/told the crowd after a bandana and a few other random things were hurled his way.
Apparently, that just egged some overzealous people on as more stuff was tossed at the singer.
"Refrain — do you know what refrain is? Don't throw," Bieber told the audience. "Are you guys going to keep throwing things on stage or should I keep performing?"
Keep throwing things!
Eventually someone threw a cell phone, so Bieber grabbed it and, naturally, shoved it down his pants to the delight of many concertgoers, judging by the female screams.
Selena Gomez's on-off ex laughed, took the phone out before giving one last "for real, don't throw" instruction, then continued on with the rest of his 90-minute show.
While we wouldn't even want the cell phone back, let's hope it was properly sanitized before being returned to the owner after the concert. Then again, if the phone belonged to a Belieber, we're guessing they were fine having it returned as is!
