Mackenzie Douthit is a married woman! The Teen Mom 3 star has just tied the knot with Josh McKee, a source exclusively confirms to Us Weekly. The couple wed at The Barn at Timber in Pittsburg, Kansas on the afternoon of Saturday, Aug. 17, in front of 200 guests.
The high school sweethearts said “I do” with six bridesmaids and groomsmen, with McKee’s brother Caleb as best man and Douthit’s best friend, Cayla Bowman, as maid of honor. The couple went for a country-themed wedding, with mason jar and yellow daisy decorations and a DJ that played all of their favorite country songs — including Train’s “Marry Me” for their walk down the aisle. The guests also feasted on the reality star’s favorite meatballs, fruit, cheese, and turkey and ham.
The new bride wore a high-low style dress with rhinestones covering the bodice for the big occasion. The men, meanwhile, wore Wrangler jeans with suede vests, white button-down shirts and cowboy boots.
“Today is the day I walk down thay aisle and marry my best friend….and the two shall become one,” the Miami, Okla. native wrote earlier in the day via Twitter. Douthit revealed days earlier that she and McKee already tied the knot. “Been married for months but im not allowed to get pregs with my husband without miami girls subtweeting… do i look like I care????” the 18-year-old tweeted on Aug. 13.
The second-time mom-to-be and McKee appeared on season 4 of 16 and Pregnant and announced in January that they were engaged for a second time after calling things off in October 2012. Their second child will soon join big brother Gannon, 2.
