Lovely baby bump, indeed! Since announcing she's expecting her first child with husband Josh Duhamel on Feb. 18, Fergie has kept her growing baby bump under wraps — until now.
The Black Eyed Peas singer, 37, stepped out in Milan, Italy on Saturday, Feb. 23 and offered fans a glimpse of her pregnant belly. Despite wearing multiple layers of a white blouse, gray vest and leather jacket, Fergie's bump was noticeable underneath.
The "My Humps" singer and Duhamel, 40, have been referring to Fergie's tummy as her "Lovely Baby Bump," a play on words from a line in the song.
"Thank you for the outpouring of well wishes!" Safe Haven star Duhamel tweeted Feb. 19. "We are grateful and blessed. #MyLovelyBabyBump."
The dad-to-be, who married Fergie in January 2009, told omg! Yahoo on Feb. 20 that he's "always had an affinity for kids." The actor, who played a dad onscreen in his new film Safe Haven and 2010's Life as We Know It, explained, "There's something about me and kids that just click. I don't know if it's because I am a kid, but it does prepare you whenever you're around them."
"Seeing that ultrasound is unlike anything you've ever seen," Duhamel added. "Unless you've had one yourself. You're like, 'Wow, it's mine.'"
