After a busy couple days promoting her new single "We Can't Stop" — that included a live performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live in L.A. followed by another live concert at Good Morning America in NYC — Miley Cyrus finally let her hair down on Thursday, June 27. Literally.
The 20-year-old singer's preferred hairstyle since she shaved the sides in November 2012 has been a pompadour, but for her satellite radio interview at SiriusXM Studios in NYC, the style maverick wore her short hair down and combed over, with a deep side part. Her makeup was minimal and natural-looking; bold brows framed the otherwise neutral palette. Cyrus completed the look with a head-turning blue silk Emlio Pucci ensemble that featured long sleeves with cutouts at the shoulder and decorative gold badges and intricate embroidery.
Cyrus, who's expected to drop her new album later this year, has been ramping up her outrageous outfits lately. Over the weekend, she was photographed wearing only a Chicago Bulls jersey and high heels (she wore short shorts as well, but they were barely visible); on Wednesday, she rocked furry white briefs and thigh-high boots for her GMA performance, and later in the day, she slipped into fur-lined sandals by Celine.
