Raven-Symone has apparently changed her mind about keeping her sexual orientation private. The 27-year-old That's So Raven actress tweeted a thank-you to the powers that be on Friday, Aug. 2, for "finally" being able to get married.
"I can finally get married! Yay government!" she tweeted. "So proud of you." Symone didn't elaborate any further, but apparently seems to be referring to the Supreme Court's decision to overturn The Defense of Marriage Act back in June.
Symone also retweeted a fan who wrote, "She been out, momma just didn't have time for bulls–t."
Last year in May, the former Cosby Show star addressed speculation that she was a lesbian after National Enquirer claimed that she was living with a girlfriend, America's Next Top Model contestant AzMarie Livingston.
"I'm living my PERSONAL life the way I'm happiest. I'm not one, in my 25 year career to disclose who I'm dating," she wrote on Twitter. "And I shall not start now."
"My sexual orientation is mine, and the person I'm datings to know," she added. "I'm not one for a public display of my life, however that is my right as a HUMAN BEing whether straight or gay. To tell or not to tell. As long as I'm not harming anyone. I am a light being made from love. And my career is the only thing I would like to put on display, not my personal life. Kisses!"
