They've got good genes! At the annual Heart Truth Red Dress fashion show in New York City Feb. 5, Kendall and Kylie Jenner strutted their stuff on the catwalk in complementary crimson Badgley Mischka gowns. Matriarch Kris Jenner, 57, donned the same label when she hit the runway inside the Hammerstein Ballroom.
"Kendall and Kylie came out and hooked arms with their mom," an attendee tells Us Weekly of the model siblings, aged 17 and 15. "They posed briefly before Kris pulled back and let them walk down the runway together."
Kylie shared a picture of her look via Instagram. "What a great night for Heart Truth," she wrote in the caption. "Still amazed I got to wear this dress." Other celebrities who walked the runway included Minka Kelly, Gabby Douglas, Kelly Osbourne, Jillian Michaels, Wendy Williams, Jamie Chung and Toni Braxton. The annual event is meant to raise awareness of the risk of heart disease in women.
In addition to modeling, Kendall and Kylie are following in their older half-sisters' footsteps and designing a clothing line for PacSun. "We see them entering the sweet spot of our target customer, and we look at building a brand with them, not just creating a moment," Gary Schoenfeld, president and chief executive officer of PacSun, tells WWD. "Importantly, at a younger age than others, they have been able to really establish their own credibility as influencers on fashion."
The teens were inspired to break into the design world after watching Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian create the Kardashian Kollection for Sears. "We wanted to go with something a little more California fun . . . for our first line," Kendall explains. "We wanted to be able to build from there."
The 26-piece spring collection, which includes everything from chiffon tops to high-waisted shorts, hits PacSun's 644 stores on Friday, Feb. 8.
