Billy Ray Cyrus, Alan Thicke, and Justin Timberlake Defend Miley Cyrus’ Raunchy Performance With Robin Thicke

Robin Thicke's performance with Miley Cyrus has stars talking

Miley Cyrus has made it clear she doesn't have to answer to the Parents Television Council. (Heck, at this point she's made it clear she doesn't answer to anyone.)

But even the 20-year-old twerking queen herself had a mom and dad watching her risqué performance of "We Can't Stop/Blurred Lines" alongside Robin Thicke.

On Tuesday, Billy Ray Cyrus (who also happens to sit on the advisory board of the PTC) finally broke his silence regarding the most controversial moment from the VMAs involving his daughter.

"Of course I'll always be here for Miley," Billy told "Entertainment Tonight". "Can't wait [to] see her when she gets home. She's still my little girl and I'm still her dad regardless how this circus we call show business plays out. I love her unconditionally and that will never change.”

Robin's father, Alan Thicke, addressed the issue on Tuesday as well.

Though VMA Sunday was all about Miley, you probably forgot it was supposed to be Justin Timberlake's night. The "Take Back the Night" singer received the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, reunited with 'N Sync, and gave an amazing performance during his crazy 15 minute allotment.

"I think when we were watching [Miley] — I saw Justin getting a little angry," Chris Kirkpatrick said on Monday. "And when he gets angry, I said 'Uh-oh. That means we better be on point, because he's about to go out and kill it now.'"

However, Timberlake sung a different tune on Tuesday when he was asked about Miley's performance.

“Listen, man, you know, it’s the VMAs. What did you guys expect?” Justin told Fresh 102.7. “I like Miley. I like her a lot. I think, you know, she’s young. Shes letting everyone know that she’s growing up. I just think it's the VMAs. It’s not like she did it at the Grammys. Let her do her thing. You know?”

In case Miley is keeping score, add three more to Team Twerk.

Judging by the racy photos that keep popping up on her Instagram account though, we doubt she cares.
