90210 actress Jessica Lowndes and Olympic skier Jeremy Bloom have called it quits, the athlete's rep confirms to Us Weekly. The news of the stars' split was first reported by The New York Post's Page Six March 22.
Lowndes, 24, is shooting the fifth and final season of 90210 in California, while Bloom, 30, lives in New York City. According to Page Six, the pair — who began dating about a year ago — saw no future for their bicoastal romance.
After attending Toronto Fashion Week, Lowndes spent the weekend catching up with pals in Venice Beach, Calif. She shared pictures of herself with Jamie Shepherd, Thom Evans and Sophie Raine via Instagram. Bloom, meanwhile, was seen chatting up James Taylor during an Olympics event at Yellowstone National Park.
After 90210 airs its final episode this May, Lowndes has said she plans to focus on her music career. The "I Wish I Was Gay" singer released her first LP, Nothing Like This, in January 2012.
Bloom — a three-time World Champion, two-time Olympian and 11-time World Cup gold medalist in freestyle moguls skiing — also played professional football for the Philadelphia Eagles and the Pittsburgh Steelers from 2006 to 2008. He also is co-founder of a tech film Integrate and founder of the non-profit Wish of a Lifetime.
