Well, hello there! Kate Hudson’s brother Oliver Hudson only recently joined Instagram, but he’s fully embraced sharing photos of himself with the world.
The Rules of Engagement actor, 38, posted a nude photo of himself on a hike on Sunday, Jan. 18, baring his butt and showing off a serious farmer’s tan. “No place like home…#notanlines,” he captioned the revealing snap.
While fans praised Oliver’s pale booty, his younger sister commented: “Is this really necessary?”
Oliver, in his defense, warned followers they could expect to see his bare bum upon joining Instagram two weeks ago. “I want to invite you all to experience the real Oliver…No filters no inhibitions…Just me both figuratively and literally…butt naked…Cheers!!” he captioned his first Instagram and selfie on Jan. 9.
“I would like to take a moment to introduce my big brother @theoliverhudson to Instagram,” Kate also shared with followers. “I apologize for him in advance…If you’re into chest hair selfies and golfing pics, he’s your guy. Happy he has taken the leap to Instagram and I already know that myself and my other brothers will be at the mercy of his public account because that’s just how he works. I’m afraid, very afraid…but bring it on Hudson! #LoveMyBrothers #OliverHudson.”
Kate’s jokester of a brother then thanked the How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days actress for the introduction, and posted a photo of them as kids with mom Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell as well as Melanie Griffith and her then-husband Don Johnson. (Oliver and Kate’s dad is Hawn’s ex-husband Bill Hudson.)
“I’d like to thank my beautiful sister @katehudson for the introduction to IG and open with a picture of the family,” he captioned the throwback. “We’re still trying to figure out which two are our parents.”
