Guess secrets aren't really his speed. Vin Diesel confirmed that veteran actor Kurt Russell will be joining him and the rest of the Fast & Furious family for the next installment of the series, Fast & Furious 7, with a post to Facebook on Tuesday, Sept. 24.
The 46-year-old actor shared a studio still of himself, Paul Walker, and Russell to his timeline, noting that it was "such an honor to work with" Russell.
"One from the set," Diesel added, just in case fans were unsure of the origins of the photo. In it, the three men share concerned looks while gathered together in what looks like an auto repair shop.
Russell, 62, has been rumored to be a part of the high-action flick, but his part in Fast 7 was never completely confirmed. The movie is slated for a July 11, 2014 release. The Fast & Furious franchise is still considered one of the most lucrative of all time, with the first five movies in the series bringing in $1.6 billion at the global box office.
Enjoying life off-camera with longtime love Goldie Hawn, Russell has been largely out of the limelight in recent years, with his last larger role being that of Stuntman Mike in 2007's Grindhouse.
