Lady Gaga deserves a round of applause for her promotional efforts! The 27-year-old singer stepped out in L.A. on Monday, Aug. 12 dressed like the cover art for her new single, "Applause."
Gaga was spotted wearing two separate black ensembles with her face painted in a rainbow of colors on Monday. The singer styled a black blazer, short black skirt and platform boots at one point in the day, and also changed into a long black dress with a key-hole neckline.
After finishing an interview with Ryan Seacrest, a source tells Us Weekly that Gaga opened her car window and smiled at fans as she drove away. Gaga was forced to release her latest single "Applause" early on Monday due to internet leaks. The song was scheduled to premiere on Aug. 19.
"DUE TO HACKERS AN ABUNDANCE OF LOW/HIGH QUALITY LEAKS . . . WE ISSUE THIS POP MUSIC EMERGENCY . . . MONSTERS SPREAD THE WORD," the popstar tweeted Monday. "MY NEW SINGLE 'APPLAUSE' IS OUT TODAY AND CAN BE HEARD ON UNITED STATES RADIO IN 15 MINUTES. INTERNATIONAL RADIO TO FOLLOW."
