Here comes the son! Two months and one day after announcing her third pregnancy, former Punky Brewster star Soleil Moon Frye appeared as a guest host on ABC's The View, where she revealed the gender of her baby-to-be.
The 37-year-old star — mom to daughters Jagger Joseph Blue, 5, and Poet Sienna Rose, 8 — brought with her a tiny, carefully wrapped box, which co-host Jenny McCarthy unwrapped at the table. Inside was a pair of pale-blue baby booties.
Frye first revealed her pregnancy on the Today show back in August. "I have a very big announcement: We have a newest addition to the family here," she said at the time, rubbing her belly. "We have two girls and now a new baby to join the family. We are so excited…I'm so happy."
Married to Goldberg since October 1998, the host of OWN's Home Made Simple (who has her own Moonfrye app and just released the entertaining book Let's Get This Party Started) has long expressed a desire to add to her family.
"It's on my mind like everyday! I want a third!" she told The Bump in October 2012 of having another child. "I just feel like if I have a third it will be another girl and I would be so into it. And then maybe the fourth would be a boy. Fingers crossed within the next year!"
