Real original, Jenelle! Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans was very candid with the North Carolina police officer who pulled over her boyfriend, Nathan Griffith, in the early hours of Saturday, Sept. 7, on account of driving erratically, according to the Huffington Post.
When the young mom (of son Jace, 4, with ex-boyfriend Andrew Lewis) was asked why the couple had been weaving in and out of traffic, Evans replied, "Honestly, we were trying to have sex."
A police dash cam captured the entire awkward exchange, during which Evans, 21, explained that the pair had been trying to rush home as quickly as possible to do the deed. But not a moment sooner, she reassured the officer.
Asked the North Myrtle Beach officer, "That's why you guys were all over the road?" Evans responded with a simple "yeah," though she denied that any inappropriate conduct took place within the vehicle.
At one point during the recorded traffic stop, one of the officers suddenly recognized Evans from the hit reality show, asking her if she was indeed "the girl on MTV."
"Yeah, unfortunately," she said with a laugh.
The 21-year-old copped to having two drinks and two shots that night, but it was Griffith, the actual driver at the time, who was ultimately charged with a DUI, speeding, driving on the wrong side of the road, and resisting arrest and driving with a suspended license.
He was booked around 2 a.m., with bail set at $5,000, but the 25-year-old didn't stay in the clinker for long; Evans came up with the funds, and he was once again a free man.
The Teen Mom 2 star has had quite a few legal battles of her own recently. In August, Evans was ordered to serve 48 hours of jail after failing a random drug test following a plea deal that was meant to relieve her of jail time.
