Justin Bieber’s Speeding and Spitting Charges Dropped

Justin Bieber will not face charges in connection with two cases involving his neighbors

It's Justin Bieber's lucky day.

The "Baby" singer is off the hook on two separate and unrelated charges against him, both of which took place in the Calabasas, California, neighborhood that he calls home.

The first was a case in which a neighbor accused Justin of spitting on him after the neighbor approached the pop star's property to complain about his speeding through their neighborhood. The second was a case in which another neighbor, retired NFL player Keyshawn Johnson (who was the first to be kicked off "Dancing With the Stars" this season!), also complained that the Biebs was speeding through their neighborhood [in a Ferrari].

The office of L.A. County District Attorney Jackie Lacey confirmed to omg! that the charges in both cases had been dropped, after TMZ first reported the news on Thursday.

Regarding the spitting case, the D.A.'s office noted in their declination to press charges that during their argument, Justin's next door neighbor accused him of saying, "I will beat the s–t out of you and I will f—ing kill you." The D.A.'s office also reported that Bieber's behavior, "seemed disproportionate and immature. However, given the brief duration of the encounter and the surrounding circumstances, including the fact that the complainant, despite his good intentions, had entered the suspect's property without invitation, the evidence does not show beyond a reasonable doubt that the suspect's outburst rose to the level of a criminal threat."

The D.A.'s office added that though the alleged victim had reportedly saved the, um, saliva Bieber had allegedly spit on him, no such evidence existed.

As for the speeding case, although "numerous residents telephoned the L.A. County Sheriff's Department to complain," A couple of weeks after the incident occurred the rapper Tyler, the Creator admitted to TMZ that he was the one driving the Ferrari, while security camera footage clearly showed Bieber riding behind the car on a motorcycle. So, in the end, there was no evidence proving that Bieber had done anything wrong.

Maybe the Biebs isn't such a bad guy after all!
