Rita Ora is heading to the big screen! The 23-year-old British singer will be joining the cast of the much-anticipated movie adaptation of E.L. James' erotic novel Fifty Shades of Grey, Us Weekly can confirm.

Ora also shared the exciting news on her Twitter account Monday, Dec. 2. "It's official!" she wrote. "I've been cast in @FiftyShades of Grey as Christian's sister Mia."

The "R.I.P." singer, who made a cameo appearance in Fast & Furious 6, will star as the bubbly, outgoing adoptive younger sister of Christian Grey, played by Jamie Dornan. Ora's fans seem to be supportive of her getting the part with one tweeting, "Can't wait to see you act again!"

Fifty Shades of Grey began filming in Vancouver on Sunday, Dec. 1. Dornan and Dakota Johnson, who stars as Anastasia Steele, were spotted drinking tea while filming a scene inside a shop.

The Sam Taylor-Johnson-directed film is set to hit theaters on Feb. 13, 2013.
