Aw! Ryan Gosling gave his leading ladies Eva Mendes and daughter Esmeralda a shout-out while talking about his Lost River directorial debut at the 2015 SXSW Film Festival in Austin, Texas, on Friday, March 13.
“I really like working with my friends; I love all of these people,” Gosling told the crowd during his conversation with filmmaker and partner Guillermo del Toro. “You have a baby with one of them!” del Toro then told the actor, referring to his ladylove Mendes who stars in the film.
“I have a baby with one of them,” Gosling said, before going on to discuss films which empower females. “I have complicated, powerful female characters in my life, and that’s growing.” the Notebook hunk added, referring to his new daughter. 
The first-time dad has remained mum since becoming a dad, leaving Mendes to share the trials and tribulations of parenthood.
During an interview with Women’s Health, the Hitch actress admitted she actually likes the sleepless nights that come with a newborn child. “I’m actually enjoying [it],” she told the mag. “Because it’s bonding with my little girl.”
