September can't get here soon enough! Justin Timberlake subtly announced the release date of his much-anticipated second half to The 20/20 Experience via Instagram on Sunday, May 5, and it's much sooner than fans may have originally thought.

The "Suit & Tie" crooner posted the photo — which shows Timberlake strumming a guitar in a cluttered studio, with a handwritten sign "Sept. 30th" prominent in the foreground — captioning the shot with hashtags "2020Experience2of2" and "TheTNKids."

The 32-year-old singer initially confirmed a second installment of his comeback album back in March, telling Ryan Seacrest in an interview that he wanted to set the record straight about having another album in the works so soon after the first one's release.

"Let me clear a rumor up," he told Seacrest at the time. "The news that this is only the first half of the album, that's true. That's all I'm going to say!"

Prior to the March 19 release of Timberlake's highly lauded album The 20/20 Experience, the former 'N Sync boy bander hadn't released any new tracks in six years, with 2006's hit FutreSex/LoveSounds.

Now, however, the singer seems to be keen on cranking out more tunes, and will collaborate with The Roots' Questlove for the upcoming album. The drummer had previously hinted at a November release for the second installment, posting to a forum on Okayplayer.com with the cryptic message: "10 songs now…10 songs later = 20 vision."
