Kids Reenact Oscar-Nominated American Sniper, Boyhood, Theory of Everything

Watch out, Hollywood! Little kids just stepped in to take the places of big stars such as Bradley Cooper, Ethan Hawke, and Eddie Redmayne

CineFix enlisted adorable tots to recreate scenes and tease plot lines of the year’s Oscar-nominated films ahead of this month’s 2015 Academy Awards.

The video entitled “Kids Reenact 2015 Oscar Nominees” opens with the little ones’ take on American Sniper. While the Best Picture contender originally starred Cooper as famed military sniper Chris Kyle, he is easily replaced with a young man wearing fake facial hair.

The kids take it to the next level with a joke about the movie’s now-infamous fake baby. After the little kid Chris shouts, “BRB gotta go to Iraq,” Taya Kyle (originally played by Sienna Miller), is shown knocking on the baby in her arms, saying, “This thing’s plastic!”

The children then reenact Wes Anderson‘s The Grand Budapest Hotel, the Stephen and Jane Hawking story The Theory of Everything, the Michael Keaton-starring Birdman, and Benedict Cumberbatch and Keira Knightley‘s The Imitation Game

Next, they set their sights on Selma, staging a scene in which they reference Oprah Winfrey‘s involvement in the film. The video is rounded out with reenactments of Whiplash and Boyhood
