It's never easy to say goodbye. Fans and fellow stars tuned in to Glee on Thursday, Oct. 10, to say farewell to Cory Monteith and his character Finn Hudson. The heartbreaking, tearjerker episode honored the late actor, who died on July 13 at the age of 31 after overdosing on heroin and alcohol.
The episode didn't directly address how Finn passed away but rather focused on how each character grieved differently over the loss of their friend. Monteith's on-and-off-screen girlfriend, Lea Michele, who plays Rachel Berry, made an appearance towards the end of the episode and gave a gut-wrenching rendition of Bob Dylan's "Make You Feel My Love."
If the tears weren't falling already, they certainly were after Michele's performance. "I had it all planned out," Berry said about her future plans with Finn. "He was my person."
