Hurray! One of Hollywood's favorite fairy tale success stories (their first joint screenwriting effort ever led to an Oscar for Good Will Hunting), Ben Affleck and Matt Damon will be working together again. The two Boston-bred pals are joining forces to executive-produce a new comedy for CBS.

According to Deadline, their sitcom, More Time With Family, was bought by the network after a fierce bidding war. The show, which stars comedian Tom Papa as a middle-aged man who leaves his life on the road to focus on his family, is based on Papa's stand-up material and the experiences of Damon.

Damon recently spoke to Esquire about staying out of the spotlight for the sake of his family. "If you can control the celebrity side of celebrity, then it's worth it," the actor told the magazine. "I look at [BradPitt] — and I have for years — and when I'm with him I see the intensity of that other side of it. I remember telling him that I walk my kids to school, and his face just fell. He was very kind, but he was like, 'You bastard.' Because he should be able to do that, too. And he can't."

The Elysium actor moved wife Luciana and their four kids to Los Angeles this summer, which should make it easier to collaborate with the already L.A.-based Affleck. More Time With Family won't be their first time producing together. They also partnered to produce 2000's Project Greenlight and 2002's Push, Nevada.
