Khloe Kardashian may not feel as good as she looks. The 29-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians star has been trying to keep up with appearances, despite the implosion of her nearly four-year marriage to Lamar Odom. On Wednesday, Sept. 18, Kardashian shared a photo of herself boarding a private jet to travel to Las Vegas for work, but also later posted a quote that may give insight into how she’s coping.
“5 hour trip to Sin City for Kardashian Kollection back to LaLa Land,” she captioned a photo from the trip. In the snapshot, Kardashian strikes a sexy pose on the stairs leading up to a private jet along with sister Kourtney and a friend. She looked stylish in dark shades, skinny jeans and boots while giving a sultry pout to the camera.
It looks like Kardashian may have done a wardrobe change from her ultra-sexy look earlier in the day. She also shared a photo of herself walking by the plane while wearing a tight olive green dress, heels and her hair styled in fishtail pigtails.
But Kardashian’s gorgeous exterior may just be a cover-up. Within five hours of the jet snapshots, the reality star also posted a photo of a girl wearing a mask with the telling quote, “She smiles to mask the pain in her heart. She laughs to conceal the tears in her eyes.”
A source told Us Weekly that Kardashian is “devastated” over marital problems with Odom and an official separation is imminent. Her NBA player husband, 33, was arrested for DUI on Aug. 30, shortly after sources confirmed to Us Weekly that he was battling a serious substance abuse problem. He checked into rehab on Sept. 4, only to check out the very next day.
Though Kardashian has yet to comment on the controversy, she has thanked her fans for their continued support. “Always remember how much I love you!” she tweeted Sept. 18. “I’m forever grateful for your love and support!!!! Kisses my babies.”
