Jodie Sweetin is staying strong in the wake of her split from husband Morty Coyle. On Tuesday, June 25, one day after news broke that she had filed papers seeking a legal separation from her spouse of just over a year, the former Full House star, 31, took to Twitter to address her 85,000 followers.
"Thank you to everyone for being kind and supportive…I really appreciate all the fan love," she tweeted. "Life can have its challenges, for sure!"
As Us Weekly previously reported, Sweetin filed documents in an L.A. County court, citing irreconcilable differences and requesting ownership of the couple's 2000 Toyota Avalon, full custody of daughter Beatrix, 2, and a 50/50 split of their $200 Kohl's credit card balance.
"She seems in good spirits," a source told Us of the actress, who married Coyle in a private ceremony in Beverly Hills in March 2012. "She's sober still, so she's in way better shape than last time."
That said, Sweetin has a good support system in place if things start to get rough. "STAY SOBER, we're here for you!" her former costar John Stamos tweeted to the recovering meth addict on June 25.
This is Sweetin's third marriage. She was previously wed to Shaun Holguin (from 2002 to 2006) and to Cody Herpin (from 2007 to 2010), with whom she has a 5-year-old daughter, Zoie.
