As the 30-year-old Australian actor promotes his latest film Rush this week, he's been asked to comment on his 23-year-old sibling's split. At the Cinema Society and Ferrari's screening of Rush on Wednesday, Sept 18, The New York Post's Page Six reports that Chris was overheard saying, "We're brothers and we give each other advice all the time. We're very supportive with each other."

A rep for Cyrus confirmed to Us on Monday, Sept. 16, that the 20-year-old singer and Liam have called off their engagement after three years of dating. The very next day, The Hunger Games actor was photographed kissing Mexican actress and singer Eiza Gonzalez in L.A.
During an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Tuesday, Chris commented on how Liam's relationship with "We Can't Stop" singer Cyrus has attracted him undue attention. "At times you're a target and at times you're not. If you have a film coming out or who you are dating and what have you . . . but um, we've been lucky, my wife and I," Chris said of his wife Elsa Pataky. (The spouses of nearly three years are parents to daughter India, 16 months.) "We kind of live a pretty simple boring kind of life. We're not rolling out of clubs at 4 in the morning. Not to say that Liam is by the way . . . I mean he has once or twice."
