Now that’s a classy Cornwall Christmas card! Prince Charles and wife Camilla went old-school for their 2013 holiday card, which was released Thursday, Dec. 19.

The traditional card depicts the couple laughing together at the Royal Ascot, which was held back in June. Britain’s future king, 65, and his beloved, 66, both seated in a box at the big horse racing event, look dutifully regal in the picture.

The Duchess of Cornwall attended the Ascot wearing a printed chiffon dress beneath a seafoam green silk coat, by Anna Valentine. She paired her look with a cream-colored hat, printed clutch bag and single strand of pearls as she smiled down at the parade ring from above.

Charles, meanwhile, looked like quite the patriarch in a pale blue and white Turnbull and Asser shirt, paired with a gray-colored coat by Anderson and Sheppard. He completed his outfit with a silk scarf and black top hat by Lock & Co, as he turned to his wife to point out a funny detail, presumably written in the program.

The couple’s card includes Prince Charles’ feathers (a badge consisting of three white feathers rising through a gold coronet) and the Duchess’ official cipher (emblazoned with the letter “C”) on its cover, with the words, “Wishing you a very Happy Christmas and New Year” typed across the left inside flap of the holiday greeting.

On Wednesday, Charles and Camilla attended Queen Elizabeth II’s annual Christmas lunch along with his son Prince William, 31, daughter in law Kate Middleton, 31, and their grandson Prince George, 5 months.

Back in October, Charles gave an extensive interview to Time magazine in which he discussed his baby grandson, the succession issue and his “wonderful wife.” The charitably-minded and oftentimes funny Prince of Wales expressed, “I feel more than anything else it’s my duty to worry about everybody and their lives in this country, to try to find a way of improving things if I possibly can.”
