Let them (drink) cake! Just in time for the warmer months, Starbucks is celebrating the 20th anniversary of its beloved Frappuccino with a special and limited edition flavor: Birthday Cake.
The coffee giant announced Wednesday, Mar. 25, that the new celebratory flavor will be available starting Thursday. The downside is that fans have only five days (through Mar. 30) to consume as many cake concoctions as possible.
According to the release, the Birthday Cake Frap includes a "delicious, creamy blend of Vanilla Bean and Hazelnut." Topping the delightfully cool drink is raspberry infused whipped cream.
Starbucks made headlines this past November when it revealed a new seasonal drink called the Chestnut Praline Latte.
Currently, the top five Frappuccino flavors in the United States are Caramel, Mocha, Vanilla Bean, Java Chip, and Double Chocolatey Chip. According to the coffee behemoth, Saturday is the busiest day of the week for Frappuccino sales.
