No hard feelings here! Exes Joe Jonas and actress Camilla Belle reunited Thursday night at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts Grand Inaugural Gala presented by Salvatore Ferragamo in Beverly Hills, Calif. The ex-lovebirds were photographed catching up at the star-studded event looking cordial and happy to see each other.
"For a solid 15 minutes before dinner started, Camilla and Joe had a one-on-one chat at his table," an insider revealed to Us Weekly about the reunion. "They ended their chat with a big hug," the source added, noting that there seemed to be no further interaction between the two for the rest of the night.
The unexpected encounter came on the heels of quite the change for the "Pom Poms" singer. Jonas, 24, and his brothers Kevin, 25, and Nick, 21, shocked their Jonas Brothers fans when they decided to cancel their 19-date tour on Oct. 9, just one day before their first show.
"There is a deep rift within the band," their spokesman, Jesse Derris, told Us. "There was a big a disagreement over their music direction." The brothers have since deactivated their official band Twitter account as well.
Jonas and Belle, 27, called it quits in July 2009 after a year of dating. The two initially linked up soon after the singer's split from Taylor Swift. Swift's song "Better Than Revenge" off her 2010 Speak Now album has been rumored to be about Belle coming in between her relationship with the musician. "I never saw it coming, wouldn't have suspected it," Swift included in the lyrics. "She's not a saint and she's not what you think/She's an actress/She's better known for the things that she does on the mattress."
