Just how do those super-sexy Victoria’s Secret models get their runway show glow? Us Weekly Beauty Director Gwen Flamberg went backstage at the lingerie brand’s annual fashion show to get the beauty scoop from model Erin Heatherton and lead makeup artist Dick Page amid the chaos of the models’ pre-show glam prep.
Spending a quick five minutes on each of the VS Angels to add extra touches of sparkle and shine, Page tells Us he used lipstick on their cheeks and nose to make the sexiest women in the world even sexier! “The main [priority] is not to get in the way in a room full of beautiful girls,” the makeup artist joked to Us.
To copy the VS look, Page suggests creating a sexy flush by adding a touch of color to your nose. “If you think about when you get a bit of sun, you get a little color and it makes the face look a little more animated,” he says.
“I always love getting my hair and makeup done and this is the best hair and the makeup team in the world,” Heatherton told Us as she was getting a manicure and her hair styled by members of the VS glam squad. “This is my favorite day of the year!”
