Teresa Palmer has always wanted to be a mother. As Us Weekly exclusively revealed on Monday, the 27-year-old Warm Bodies actress, who is expecting her first child with fiance Mark Webber — and it was anything but a surprise. On Instagram Monday, Aug. 12, Palmer shared a photo of her sonogram as well as a sweet message to her future baby girl or boy.
"This is where my heart is," she captioned the photo of a pair of red and blue baby slippers and her sonogram. "To my precious baby — I'm so blessed to be your mama, we have been wishing for you for awhile. We love you so much and can't wait to kiss your little face and tiny toes. Thank you for hearing our prayers."
On Monday, the Australian actress' rep confirmed to Us, "Teresa is expecting. She and Mark are over the moon excited and can't wait to add to their family." Palmer and Webber, 33, met on Twitter last September, and confirmed their engaged on Twitter less than two weeks ago. (The actor is already father to a young son, Isaac Love, with actress Frankie Shaw.)
After announcing her pregnancy, the Take Me Home Tonight star tweeted, "Thanks for all the beautiful messages! Those who know me the best know that this is something I've been waiting for my whole life. Blessed."
Indeed, even Palmer's bio on twitter reads, "Wannabe organic hippie farmer mother and have loads of children, dogs, horses, land."
Now, the mom-to-be is excited to start shopping for baby! "Ok guys, now for all the baby Q's!" she wrote. "Can anyone recommend a very earthy, organic, hippie baby clothing line?"
