Reign is the new black! Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra shared the name of their newborn daughter with MTV on Thursday, Jan. 1, announcing the joyful arrival of their baby girl: Nova Reign.
The Teen Mom stars' announcement coincided with proud papa Baltierra gushing about the new addition to his brood on Thursday. "OMG guys, my daughter is BEAUTIFUL!" he wrote to his 680,000-plus followers on Twitter. "Can't wait for you guys to see her! Born on 1/01/15 at 3:15 #StillCantBelieveIt #ShesPerfect."
According to MTV, baby Nova weighed in at 6 pounds, 12 ounces, and measured 19.5 inches.
Baltierra also shared an Instagram photo of beaming mom Lowell, cradling her newborn daughter in the hospital. "Momma Bear holding our little angel!" he wrote. "Can't tell you the feeling of witnessing this. Look at my beautiful bride to be! That woman is beyond strong, caring, and selfless. Couldn't have asked for a better little family #Blessed #NewYearBaby #MyGirls #AreMyWorld."
Us Weekly first revealed this past May that the pair, both 22, were expecting again. The couple put their first daughter Carly, now 5, up for adoption in 2009, documenting the emotional process on MTV's 16 and Pregnant.
In July 2013, Baltierra and Lowell called off their five-year engagement, though they opted to remain together. This past Christmas, Baltierra popped the question for the second time, presenting his longtime love with a brand-new engagement ring.
