One of each! Molly Sims adorably announced on her blog on Monday, Jan. 5, that she’s expecting a baby girl with her husband Scott Stuber.
“Things are feeling very rosy at the Sims-Stuber house right now!!” Sims, 41, wrote in her “Tickled Pink” update. “As you all know, Scott and I are expecting our 2nd child in just a few short months, making Brooks an older brother. I announced the big news back in September, with the most AH-dorable little chalkboard signs that I found. Now I’m ready to share with you all that I’m having a GIRL!!”
Accompanying her blog post were several images of the pregnant supermodel wearing an eye-popping pink sheath dress as she holds a rather large bouquet of pink balloons. In one snap, Sims points to a square balloon which reads “It’s a girl,” while she proudly cradles her growing baby bump in the other photo.
“We couldn’t be more excited,” she continued. “I can’t wait to meet our baby girl and I just know that Brooks is going to be the very best big brother ever. Two kids under three … here we GO!”
Sims also discussed the differences between her first pregnancy with Brooks, now 2, and her second. “Overall, I have to say I’m much more relaxed,” she wrote. “To be honest, I’m incredibly excited, slightly scared and a tiny bit anxious all at the same time. As this is my second time around the block, there is no fear of the unknown. I also think because I spend a lot of my day chasing Brooks around, there isn’t as much time to truly wrap my mind around the fact that our lives will be turned upside down (in a good way!) very shortly.”
The model and her producer hubby got married in September 2011, and welcomed their son in June 2012. “We decided to wait because I really wanted to enjoy [time with Brooks],” Sims told Us Weekly last September about waiting to have her second child. “I got married. I got engaged, had a baby, all in a year and a half.”
Now ready to welcome her second in 2015, Sims wrote Monday: “We are over the moon and can’t wait until our precious little girl arrives. Now the question is, what do you think we’ll name her?”
