“I had so much fun making the movie,” the Baywatch and Knight Rider alum told HuffPost Live in a Monday, March 23 interview. As the actor explains, Sharknado‘s third installment will have much more of the camp and sight gags its predecessors were known for. “It’s the worst movie you have ever seen,” the Hoff hinted.

Appearing in this July’s Syfy made-for-TV movie as the father of Ziering’s character, Finn Shepard, Hasselhoff says his time on set was an utter delight. “The people making the movie have the best sense of humor. Everybody’s in on the joke,” Hasselhoff, 62, said.

David Hasselhoff will appear in this summer’s Sharknado 3 on Syfy. He tells Huff Post Live the campy flick really is “the worst movie” you’ll ever see.

While costar Jerry Springer already hinted his Sharknado 3 character ends up, er, seeing red at the film’s end, Hasselhoff is more optimistic about his film franchise fate. “This thing’s going to go on forever! The last scene of me is on the moon, and I said ‘are you going to kill me?’ They said ‘no, you’ll be in Sharknado 4!'” he kidded.

Springer and Hasslehoff are just two of Sharknado 3’s epic guest stars. Shark Tank‘s Mark Cuban will appear as the President of the United States, while conservative commentator Ann Coulter acts as his VP. Bo Derek plays April’s mother, and ‘N Sync’s Chris Kirkpatrick lends a hand as a lifeguard.
