Her time! Selena Gomez is one club-hopping party girl in the new music video for “I Want You to Know,” her collaboration with rumored boyfriend Zedd.
The electric new visuals debuted on Tuesday, March 10, just weeks after the release of the well-performing single. The clip opens with shots of Gomez, 22, walking into a club, strutting her stuff as she makes her way to the dance floor.
Working it in a crowd of dancers, Gomez croons, “I want you to know that it’s our time / You and me bleed the same light / I want you to know that I’m all yours /You and me run the same course.”
Against one of Zedd’s Grammy-winning electronic beats, the former Disney star lets loose, shimmying and shaking her hips as she first spots the DJ in the club. The Russian-German musician, 25, makes brief appearances in the video while Gomez goes through sexy outfit changes, makes out with her reflection in a mirror, and gets progressively more wild.
Currently sitting at No. 17 on Billboard’s Hot 100 Chart, “I Want You to Know” is the first offering off of Zedd’s upcoming sophomore album. The “Stay the Night” performer saw success with his debut studio album Clarity and its hit title track in 2012, earning a Grammy award and Billboard nods, and topping dance charts.
The breakout performer recruited Gomez for the track, but has yet to confirm whether or not she is his girlfriend. The two musicians have been spotted together many times in recent weeks, and continue to share intimate shots with one another on social media, fueling speculation that they are an item.
