There’s peril in the Peach State! Kenya Moore wants to get back behind the camera — to create a shady show about her frenemies, Porsha Williams and Claudia Jordan still can’t get along, and Apollo Nida uses his last few days of freedom to terrorize wife Phaedra Parks. Oy.

Life Twirls On

Lights, camera, action! Kenya misses the spotlight — or being behind it. As a noted actress (who could forget her role in Deliver Us From Eva?!), she’s had her share of drama…and participated in it, too. She visits Roger BobbDemetria McKinney’s boyfriend and manager, to try and make magic happen.

At his office, she pitches a sitcom script called “Life Twirls On.” In it, her character encounters a circle mean girls. NoNo is a “50-year-old…cross-gendered pole dancer.” Athena is a “slick-talking jack-of-all trades mortician, notary public and preacher” who starts devastating rumors while trying to play innocent. DeDe is a “dingy” girl who didn’t know that the Underground Railroad wasn’t an actual subway system. Sound familiar?

“This is my chance to tell my story, so you know I’m going to use it to throw some shade,” Kenya proclaims.

She mentions some of the actors she has in mind for her project — Christina Milian, Meagan Good, and Eddie Murphy to play her former African boyfriend. She asks Roger if he’d be able to commit, and he says no — he’s already committed to two sitcoms in L.A.

“I’m not Demetria,” Kenya says in her confessional. “You will need to make time for me.” Now twirl on that!

Phaedra Struggles to Tell the Truth

Phaedra tries to find a way to tell her two young boys about husband Apollo’s impending eight-year prison sentence — he has to turn himself in within a week. She visits the home of Dr. Gregory, her friend and a therapist, for counsel.

“People [say I can tell him] he’s going to camp,” Phaedra tells Dr. Gregory. “What camp lasts eight years? Do I wait until the question comes up?”

Dr. Gregory suggests telling them that their dad broke an adult rule, and that he has to go on adult time out.

Apollo has other concerns. He visits his lawyer Randy to see what he should do in the event that Phaedra files for divorce while he’s away. He’s worried that Phaedra won’t bring the boys to visit him in jail.

“It’s not good for your kids to not see you. The alternative is for them not to know you at all,” Randy says.

Dr. Gregory expresses similar sentiments. Although Phaedra is probably harboring some resentment towards her estranged husband, Dr. Gregory doesn’t want that to get in the way of Apollo’s relationship with his sons.

“I don’t see myself meandering around prisons when I’m not being paid to do so,” Phaedra sniffs.

Curtain Call

Todd Tucker is the bearer of bad news to wife Kandi Burruss. He tells her that they have to cancel the remainder of their tour for A Mother’s Love because they’re not selling enough tickets to keep it going.

“We only are in the second week of the tour. How is that possible?” Kandi asks.

Todd explains that the promoter overextended himself and that he didn’t have enough money to front the cost of the tickets. Kandi expresses frustration that she let someone else take control, and begins to cry.

“When I have control…I’m going to go above and beyond to make sure things happen,” Kandi explains in her confessional. “With the tour not happening, other people who depend on that money look at me.”

Todd, ever the optimist, comforts and embraces his wife. “It happens to the big dogs, too,” he says.

Morning Show Showdown!

What a party pooper! Dish Nation throws a celebration for new TV host Porsha — and Claudia, her colleague through radio and TV host Rickey Smiley, decides to stop by…despite their nasty verbal spat in Puerto Rico a few weeks ago (Claudia claimed that Porsha got her new car from a married man!).

“I don’t really care what happened between Porsha and I in the past,” Claudia says in her confessional. “The fact of the matter is that I’m still part of the Rickey Smiley Morning Show crew. We can both be at this event, be ladies and get along.”

That’s what she thinks. Claudia calls Porsha over to make amends, but Porsha’s over it.

“To me, I have this gift of discernment,” Porsha tells Claudia. “When you get to a certain point, you don’t want negativity. If you sense it any kind of way, you keep it away from you.”

Claudia says that she’s not begging, trying or dying to be Porsha’s best friend — but that she wants to at least be able to be cordial at work since, after all, they have to see each other every day.

“In passing,” Porsha snipes. She says that the things Claudia said on the bus were unforgivable…but Claudia mentions that Porsha’s not so innocent, either. When NeNe Leakes called Claudia a whore (“Your clit has left your body!” she infamously bellowed), Porsha was right there, laughing at it all.

“You’ve got people in Atlanta that you deal with. I’ve got people in Atlanta that I deal with,” Porsha tells Claudia. “There’s no reason for me to let you into my world.”

So much for coworker camaraderie.

Phaedra Escapes

Pastor Regina, Phaedra’s mom, stops by the Nida home where Phaedra is living in fear. Phaedra tells her mother that Apollo’s been acting erratically for months and now believes that she’s having an affair with another man. Phaedra also says that Apollo is slamming doors, punching holes in walls and even threatening to burn their house down.

“I sometimes wonder if he’s suicidal,” Phaedra tells Pastor Regina — who’s not having it.

“You are my child. Those children are my grandchildren,” Pastor Regina says. “We’re getting out of here for the safety of you and those children.”

Phaedra is still holding on to hope that Apollo will come around. “I want to believe that he’s going to come to his right mind,” she says.

“He’s not concerned with you. I don’t want to come in here one morning and everybody’s dead,” Pastor Regina replies. ”Enough is enough.”
