We're not sure what's happening here, but we love it. Jessica Simpson shared a snap of herself and her husband Eric Johnson on Monday, Oct. 6, from sister Ashlee Simpson's 30th birthday party — and it appears her hubby had to improvise when it came to his mask.
"When your husband doesn't have a mask… A Hanky Panky lace option will be the hit of the party!!!" the fashion designer captioned a photo of Johnson's face covered with a pair of black lace underwear. Simpson, for her part, looked stunning with a silver mask painted on her face and a dark red lip.
In a photo posted on Oct. 3, the blonde mom of two thanked her team for the dramatic look but admitted it wasn't the easiest to remove. "Not gonna lie… It took about 3 washes to get this fantastic mask off," she wrote.
Simpson gave Ashlee a shout-out prior to the party, which was also Christmas-themed, gushing: "Happy Birthday Ashlee! There is no one I believe in more than you. Thank you for inspiring me everyday. I love you!!! #dirty30."
