Sarah Silverman’s vagina-having days are over. The comedian and actress undergoes gender reassignment surgery in a hilarious new satirical video made to raise awareness for the “vagina tax,” otherwise known as the Equal Payback Project.
“Women make up almost half the working population, yet we typically earn just 78 cents to every dollar a man makes in almost every profession, like doctors, lawyers, teachers, miners, and even the oldest profession of them all — tailors.”
“Every year the average woman loses around $11,000 to the wage gap,” Silverman, 43, explains. “Over the course of her working life, that’s almost $500,000. That’s a $500,000 vagina tax!”
Devastated by those stats, Silverman then comes up with the perfect solution. “I’m becoming a dude,” she quips.
“In the grand scheme of things, it’s way less expensive than the money I’ll lose having a p—y. Plus, I’ll finally be able to pee on walls!” she reasons.
Silverman enlists Trophy Wife star and fellow SNL alum Michaela Watkins as her doctor for the procedure, and chooses a penis from a tray.

Equal Payback Project hopes to raise the trillions of dollars that women have and will be cheated out of in the course of their careers. If they don’t make their goal, the money will be donated to the National Women’s Law Center.
