Finally we get to see what Hannah Horvath will look like in 10 years! Comedy hitmaker Judd Apatow’s latest project is the rom-com Trainwreck, starring Amy Schumer and Bill Hader. On Wednesday, Feb. 11, Apatow tweeted, “@TrainwreckMovie: We all know one. From @JuddApatow, watch the trailer for #Trainwreck starring @amyschumer!”
In the newly released trailer, Comedy Central star Schumer plays Amy, a party girl who was taught by her father at an early age that “monogamy is not realistic.” So when she meets Aaron (Bill Hader), a sports doctor who seems to like her, she’s entirely thrown off when she spends the night at his place and he calls her the next day. Cue a character’s turning point!
Though the plot seems slightly predictable — in a delightful sort of way — it helps that there are appearances from an entirely made-over Tilda Swinton, who plays Amy’s posh magazine boss Dianna and the ever-hilarious SNL star Vanessa Bayer, as Amy’s best friend Nikki.
Also LeBron James makes his acting debut (as himself) and declares his love for Downton Abbey, so there’s that. The film will premiere at this year’s SXSW festival.
