Mama's night out! Jaime King had one adorable date at Disney XD's Star Wars Rebels: Spark Of Rebellion screening on Saturday, Sept. 27, in Los Angeles. The actress, 35, toted her 11-month old son James Knight to the star-studded event.

"[Motherhood] is the best thing in the whole world," she gushed to Us Weekly at the screening.

The former model looked casually beautiful for the night of family fun, wearing her blonde hair pulled back and with a pair of sunglasses on her head. Carrying her son in her arms, she wore a printed collared shirt, James Jeans "Neo Beau Genevieve" denim, and black Monique Lhuillier heels. She dressed her little one in a navy blue outfit and festive slip-on Stormtrooper shoes.

King and her husband Kyle Newman welcomed James in October 2013; she and Newman tied the knot in November 2007. The happy couple has some big plans for their son's first birthday, which is coming up on Oct. 6.

"I think we're going to have a baby party, which is probably going to be mostly adults because most of his friends are adults," King told Us. "He doesn't have a lot of baby friends. He spends most of his time on set but that's a good thing. I was back to work six weeks after I gave birth so all of his besties are my besties."

King also offered up some advice for other new moms and expectant mothers, such as her Hart of Dixie costar Rachel Bilson, who is pregnant with her first child with Hayden Christensen

"Enjoy it," King said. "Be gentle on yourself. Be easy on yourself. It's a wild ride. Listen to your own intuition. Do as much research as you can but there's no right. There is no wrong."

"I'm a very big advocate of supporting women and our choices," the Barely Lethal star continued. "I feel like we're coming upon a generation where there is a lot of mommy bullying out there. Do you breastfeed, do you not breastfeed, do you bottle feed, do you do this? And there are all these judgments about what you should and should not be doing… As far as I'm concerned, I love and support all women in what they need to do to take care of their child and what they feel is the most loving and nurturing way to do that. And every woman is very different."
