It's been a mere 48 hours since Nicole "Coco" Austin and her husband of 14 years, Ice T, announced they're expecting their first child, and already the parents-to-be are overwhelmed with fans' show of support.
"I'm just so overjoyed from all the baby wishes that Ice & I have been getting all over the world," the 36-year-old model and clothing designer tweeted on Tuesday, July 28. "I thank you from the bottom of my heart and soul."
The couple confirmed their happy news on July 27, three days after letting audience members at a taping of their talk show Ice & Coco in on their big secret. "I've been pregnant for a while, but we've been holding it between us for some time," Coco told New York City's Fox 5 News. Letting Ice & Coco fans in on the surprise was "a really awesome moment," she added. "I cried."
Coco intends to take fans along on her journey to motherhood, and vowed to spill details on her due date and baby's gender when their talk show premieres on Monday, Aug. 3. "It's beautiful how life actually works," the pregnant star said. "Now that I have a little thing inside of me moving around, it's amazing."
News of Law & Order: SVU's Ice T becoming a father for the third time wasn't the only surprise from the NBC hit's set. Ice's on-screen partner, Kelli Giddish (Amanda Rollins), is also pregnant, and newbie detective Peter Scanavino's wife Lisha will soon welcome their second child.
"SVU: most fertile show on Earth. Congrats all," the actors' boss, SVU showrunner Warren Leight, tweeted in celebration.
