He is definitely Keeping Up With the Kardashians. Kanye West confirmed Friday, Feb. 20, during his loaded interview with Power 105.1's The Breakfast Club, that his sister-in-law Kylie Jenner is dating Tyga.
At one point during his nearly one-hour conversation, the rapper, 37, was asked whether he thought 25-year-old Tyga's relationship with 17-year-old Jenner was "inappropriate."
West burst out into laughter and responded: "I think [Tyga] got in early. I think he was smart." (Tyga, for his part, claimed earlier this week that he and Jenner were not a romantic item. "I'm not dating Kylie, I just want to get that out of the way," the "Rack City" rapper said on The Breakfast Club. "I want to be clear to everybody that I didn't leave my family to be with Kylie. That's ridiculous.")
In a somewhat confounding (and grammatically creative) Instagram update on Friday, Tyga posted a photo of Kylie, pouting her plump lips and batting her false lashes. "Your beauty never goes unnoticed," he wrote in the caption. "One of the best/dopest person in my life."
The most controversial issue with Tyga and Jenner's relationship has been their eight-year age gap, which West noted on Friday. "They are closer in age than a lot of relationships that I know," the rapper said. "I knew Tyga was smart… Yeah, I can't speak on nobody's relationship."
The one relationship West could address on Friday was his own with Kim Kardashian — and his ex-girlfriend Amber Rose.
Wiz Khalifa's estranged wife first ignited the feud with the Kardashian family earlier this week branding Kylie as a "baby" and Kim as a "whore." Rose then got into a social media spat with Khloe Kardashian and ultimately elicited a response from West.
"If Kim had dated me when I first wanted to be with her," the Yeezus rapper said Friday, "there would be no Amber Rose."
